You are bidding on the 200 horsepower MERCURY OPTIMAX DFI outboard boat motor that you see in the High Resolution photos below.

This engine has been meticulously restored to better than new by MercMenRestorations on the web with all the following:

  • Completely and Fully brought back to Brand New Standards!
  • Completely remanufactured with the following features and Upgrades:
  • New Pistons
  • New Rings
  • New Wrist Pin Bearings, washers and retainers
  • New Rod Bearings
  • New Main Bearings
  • New upper and lower Main Bearings
    • New Seals, gaskets, hoses and stainless clamps
    • Grade 8 Bolt upgrade in Anodized gold
    • New Genuine Quicksilver Phantom Black Paint
    • New Water pump, housing and gaskets and seals
    • New High Performance Gear Lube
    • CDI Health Report showing two hours break in run time.

    This nice, clean motor starts right up and runs great.  It is zero hours since restoration but I do run these engines for up to three hours on double oil to partially break them in. The motor is extremely clean and in like new condition overall.  All of the paint and decals are NEW.  As you can see under the hood it is super clean and new as well. You have your choice of colors as this engine is in production NOW!  This motor runs as you would expect it and starts right up with the push button, idles nice low and smooth, throttles up with no hesitation, has great power and pumps cooling water well.  Be sure to see the High Resolution Video provided.  It is a new engine and will need to be properly broken in for at least 7 hours prior to normal use.  The motor shifts into forward, neutral and reverse smoothly.  This is a Fresh Water motor.  The motor is a long shaft (made for a boat with a 20″ transom) remote control operated, 2-stroke, 6-cylinder with ELECTRIC START.  I can convert to a 25″ shaft for the cost of parts ONLY.  One week required for this upgrade.

Domestic Shipping and Estimates

Estimated Shipping Times:

  1. Heavy Outboard Motors (2.5 to 30 hp): 3-5 business days
  2. Light Products (Electronics and Parts): 2-4 business days

Shipping Carriers:

  1. Heavy Outboard Motors: Shipped via T-Force Freight / FEDEX Freight / XPO Freight
  2. Light Products: Shipped via UPS or FEDEX, depending on the product and destination

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to EUROPE, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, UAE and ASIA and delivery takes just 8 – 10 days to arrive your location and tracking numbers made available once your order ships out.

Stock Status

If you see “Availability” as “In Stock”, it’s on the shelf and if ordered before 14:00 Monday to Friday we will dispatch the same day.

For items not in stock but available for “back order” or “custom order” the “Availability message will show you how many days it will take until the item is dispatched. 

Example “Availability – 3-5 days” your order will be placed and will arrive with us in an estimated 3-5 days, once Instock with us we will ship using your chosen method at checkout.
